Excellent food at fair prices. The restaurant sits directly on the lake and on the terrace and some seats there is a view over the Barmstedter See. Back to eating. We had burgers and were very impressed. Fresh, homemade patties and deliciously seasoned. We liked the sweet potato fries at best. Overall very round and we'd love to come back!

The ice cream was very creamy and had a full flavor. The homemade lemonades were very refreshing. The service was very nice and courteous.

My favorite restaurant in Barmstedt am See. Good cuisine and delicious drinks on the lake terrace at sunset. Is there anything more beautiful.

I had the 'Orient' burger: the falafel patty was unfortunately not that ambitious ready-made patty. The location of the restaurant is great.

After a nice tour on the lake we wanted to eat something. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't even know which tables were reserved ... After some back and forth we decided to leave again.

Very nice! Food and ice cream tasted great. Nice and attentive service. Tables were wiped corona-compliant after each guest. Clean and attractive sanitary facilities. And of course the location on the lake is wonderful!

We are always happy to be here, especially when the weather is good you have a wonderful view over the lake. The selection of dishes and especially the quality is rarely found in a restaurant. Whether fish, meat, burgers, etc., we are always enthusiastic. The kitchen and the service are great. It should also be mentioned positively that one adheres 100% to the "Corona conditions". Therefore, the Kreuz & Quer remains our favorite place, even under the difficult conditions. Thanks to the entire team.

We visited friends in Barmstedt from Cologne and ate at Kreuz & Quer in the evening and enjoyed coffee and cake the next day. The service and the service staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was also very good and most of the cake was homemade. The current corona rules were all followed. It was a great experience to visit such a friendly and well-run restaurant. Thanks and keep it up!

Currently worse than in GDR times! 2/3 of the tables free. You have to wait at the entrance until we are picked up. Then you will Brought to a table and has to register in a book with a full address. Thanks to us, the fun has passed. Fortunately, there is another way!
